Retro-fitted to the panel and provides vital efficiency data

It transmits cruical data to the in-house display the solar radiation level, energy theoretically generated according to the solar radiation and settable parameters that takes into account the nominal power of the plant and module temperature. Transmission of the data is by using the latest wireless ZigBee 2.4 GHz technology. The sensor is powered by a solar cell and a backup battery that has a life of 5 years.

To ensure the plant is on track with returing on investment, using this sensor is key. Given this is a retro-fit sensor it can be applied to existing installations with ease and lends itself to both small domestic situations to large commercial/investment farms.
